Sadie jumped at the knocking, then realized who that voice belonged to.
Damn she thought, this can't be good.
She walked over to the door and opened it with her good arm, just enough for her to see out of, "....Reno?"
"No Seniorita, Me amo est Jennifer, the maid...."
Screw it. He though the the door and without a moment's notice fired something from his stun baton. In a flash of light Sadie was stuck in what looked like a glowing pyramid.
"Well well, look who's in the big house now..."
Sadie gave a yelp, and stared at the walls, shrinking way from them.
"W-what is this? What did you- what-" she sputtered, ".....why?" she was very confused by this.
"It's called Pyramid, a little trick that's equipped in my Shin-Ra tech Electro-Mag rod. Keeps thugs imprisioned in there until I say so. Completely harmless."
Reno walked around and sat on her bed, "So nice digs you got here. Who'd ya kill to get em?" Reno smirked a bit, "I hear you and your boyfriend have been having a grand ol' time."
She went from afraid to angry instantly, "He's NOT my damn boyfriend.", she hissed, "And your boss was kind enough to put us here after he nearly killed us"
"Really?" Reno assumed that what she meant was that Rufus sent SOLDIER after them.
"Now why would he do that? Now I heard through the grapevine that you started it. Come on Sadie! I'm not that stupid."
She quirked an eyebrow, "Maybe becasue we broke into the house and tried to kill him because he deserves it?" she said, innocently, but with a smirk.
"Sadie Sadie Sadie, while I commend you on getting that far, I gotta say you did a pretty stupid thing ya know." Reno got up and laid on the sloped wall of the pyramid.
"I remember you telling me that all you gotta do in life is to be happy, and this and that."
He noticed something, "You still have that pendant i see...Anyway Well I ended up finding my calling as a Turk. Once and forever I am a Turk. Your tryin' to kill the signer of my checks babe."
He smirked he didn't want to seem too angry with her. But he was steamin'
She involuntarily touched the pendant when he mentioned it, "I'm not stupid Reno." she said, "And yea, I still have it. I have nothing against you"
"Happiness, huh? Glad you found something..." she muttered, then shook her head, "And your boss ended up nearly killing me you know, do you not see the bandages? We don't like each other."
"Then just leave the dude alone Sadie. What did I tell you in Kalm? I do not want to see your remains on the 6 o' clock news."
He smiled and laid down on the bed, "Comfy, better than my place."
Staring up to the celing he spoke, his voice even changing tone, "You helped me out yo...I don't want to see ya get hurt."
She sat down inside the pyramid, "It's not that simple, wish it was, but it isn't"
"Thanks for the concern though. I appreciate it, seeing as your obviously very mad at me. And don't say you aren't, I can tell", she said quietly.
"Yup I am. So why did ya do it babe? Was it for that dude? Was it to piss me off? Spill your guts yo, I'm dyin' for info."
"I made a promise, and I intended to keep it" she told him, "And...just...I don't know..."
She crossed her arms and looked away, "I don't think you would understand why..." she muttered, a bit sadly.
"I think I could understand if you could shed a little light on the subject babe..."
Reno was playing detective. Not only did he want her friend to stop this game, but he wanted to know what threats were next.
"Two reasons: One is because Kadaj wants to find his mother, but I bet you knew that already" she said, glancing at him.
"The second is my own personal issue."
